TITULIA CITY (TNCweb) | Recent negotiations with TEnt News will result in a merger with TNCweb and TNClocal. The merge is set to create TITULIA NEWS Online. The new website is set to contain many news sources such as news video, articles, etc. The new site will launch in June 2010. An official date has not been set yet. A new teaser was released below and will continue to be advertised until the launch. TNC Live will continue to be a news station affiliated with Titulia News Online. Titulia Entertainment has reportedly paid T$ 50 for TC MediaCorp to take full control of it. TNCweb will continue to operate until the merge is complete. TNClocal has already ceased publishing due to low readership. However, TEnt News will cease operations reportedly this weekend. TEnt (Entertainment News) will continue to operate until the merger, when it is expected to be discontinued. No reason has been given to the sudden collapse of SOVfan’s Titulia Entertainment, but reports suggest it is the lack of readership compared with TC MediaCorp outlets.

Chinese Google uncensored in response to Communist Govt’s demands

HONG KONG (AFP) - Google announced Monday that it has stopped censoring its Chinese-language search engine Google.cn.
"Earlier today we stopped censoring our search services -- Google Search, Google News, and Google Images -- on Google.cn," Google chief legal officer David Drummond said in a blog post.
"Users visiting Google.cn are now being redirected to Google.com.hk, where we are offering uncensored search in simplified Chinese, specifically designed for users in mainland China and delivered via our servers in Hong Kong," he said.
However, the Internet giant said it plans to continue research and development work in China and maintain a sales presence there.
"In terms of Google's wider business operations, we intend to continue R&D work in China and also to maintain a sales presence there, though the size of the sales team will obviously be partially dependent on the ability of mainland Chinese users to access Google.com.hk," Google chief legal officer David Drummond said in a blog post.
Google's move came a little over two months after the Internet giant said it had been the victim of sophisticated cyberattacks originating from China.
